DESCRIPTION:This year Island Health will be providing the opportunity for children to receive their 4-6-year-old immunizations (commonly known as kindergarten immunizations) at Margaret Jenkins School on March 5\, 2019\, from 3:00 pm-5:30 pm \n\nA parent or guardian must be present during the immunization and for consent purposes.\nOnce your child has been immunized\, they will be required to stay for 15 minutes afterwards for monitoring\nThe Public Health Nurse will be sending consent forms home to children that are eligible for these vaccines.\nThis year we will be offering timed appointments\, rather than drop in (details of how to sign up for appointments will be sent home with the consent forms by the end of January).\n\nIf you have any questions please call the Victoria Health Unit on 250 388 2200.
